Titans don’t whine and Steve Martin is pickin’ and grinnin’

Bummed about the Titans loss. Why, Why, Why…oh wait, I know why. If you can’t hold onto the the ball you can’t win.  Case closed-season closed.

BTW, ever think football and child rearing would ever go hand-in-hand? Alex, my two year old, was whining this morning and I said, “Titans don’t whine.” He stopped whining and said, “Mr. Kerri Collins doesn’t whine?” “No”, I said, “He doesn’t.” That’s when I heard my wife from the other room say, “No, but Vince Young does!” Yep, we try to teach honesty in our family…

If you were some famous celeb going to the Golden Globes tomorrow what would you want to grab for your free goodie bag? The six day Tahitian vacation…the designer sunglasses…maybe the designer dog collar? Not me. I’d go for the adult sized Footie Pajamas! Talk about comfort…I’d never have to put on socks at night again. Now if they came with a trap-door in the back I’d be even happier.

One last thing…Vince Gill has hooked up with Steve Martin! Yep, that Steve Martin…Steve is an accomplished banjo player and is putting out a bluegrass album featuring Vince and Dolly Parton. It’s called, “The Crow: New songs for the five string banjo” should be for sale Jan 24 and he’ll be playing some of the songs on SNL Jan 31.
