Ricardo Montalban and your favorite show

Amazed again at how fast Wikipedia can update. Ricardo Montalban dead less then a day and that site has the update. What do you remember about him? I’ll bet it’s the same as me…”Welcome to Fantasy Island!” That cool white suit…the cool accent and…wait, wait…Tattoo. Yep, Tattoo. I think I remember his line even more. Heck, I still say it. Probably said it twice since Thanksgiving. It’s just a great line…especially when you have a son who loves looking at planes. “The De plane, the de plane!”

Hey, how about this…if you were stranded on an island, not Fantasy Island, and could only have one TV series to watch…what would it be? Tracey and I were talking about this last night…she choose “Buffy the Vampire Slayer“ (doesn’t surprise me, she’s had me record every episode on video).  I didn’t choose my favorite…decided to go more practical. I’d take “Law and Order”. If I’m stranded I don’t want to watch the same 20 episodes over and over and over. I’d rather have 19 seasons to choose from. If I was going for pure entertainment then it’s “Hogan’s Heroes”. Love that show! Love that theme song and it would inspire me to try to escape the forsaken island I was stranded on. How about you?
