Ate waaay to much New Year’s Eve! Sausage balls, meatballs, shrimp, hotmaalox2 artichoke dip… drank some ‘New Years cheer’ and ate about 5 fruit kabobs (had to have something healthy) Went to bed with a bottle of Maalox! At least I woke up to some good news…gas is 1/2 of what it cost 12 months ago…this could be a good year!

What did you think of “Dick Clark’s Rockin New Year’s Eve 2009 with Ryan Seacrest brought to you by the Scope Kiss Cam“? That’s a mouthful… I can’t imagine saying that when you’re standing in Times Square and the windchill is below 0…gotta give Ryan props for not slurring. Check out this cool review of the sha-bang…Couple things that stuck out to me

  • Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift mug shotwhat’s the deal with putting her up there with her Ex? And then never to talk to her! Boy, that was awkward…it was like Ryan was better friends with Joe Jonas and figured he’d ignore the girl that dumped his buddy. Not to mention Taylor kept getting cut off on our TV…Tracey told me if I’d spring for a big screen TV that wouldn’t happen. She’s always trying to get me to spend money.
  • Kellie Picklerkellie-pickler-hairbandIt’s just funny that ABC would bank it’s success on her! Don’t get me wrong…I love Kellie. We’ve spoken many times and she has impressed me each and every time (There are some great pictures of Kellie in the gallery). It’s just that she doesn’t seem “big” enough! Shows what I know. Go Kelly…and yeah, you did great!
  • Dick and Ryandick-clark-and-ryan-seacrestI feel bad saying this, but I feel so uncomfortable when Dick Clark starts talking. He’s had an amazing recovery but I feel he needs to hand the reins over to Ryan and relax on New Years Eve. But, I thought their exchange when Ryan came in from the cold was priceless.

Finally…I’m glad I didn’t got to Times Square, I’m glad I didn’t spend $400 to party with Diddy and I’m glad I didn’t find a baby sitter so I could party with my friends… because I got to ring in the New Year with my family…after all they’re the ones I spend the ups and downs of the year with every day. Happy New Year!
