What’s that about overthrowing the government?

More True Stories from the School Bus…(Great job till I get back on the radio)

You’ll never believe one of the questions asked on a job application I just filled out. It was for a school bus driver…right after  asking, “Are you a US Citizen?” (yes or no), “Can you legally work in the US?” (yes or no), it asked the following, “Do you support the overthrow of the American Form of government or are you a member of a political party which supports the overthrow of the American form of government?”….What? Pardon? If I answer yes, will there be federal agents at my door in 20 minutes (or maybe a cafeteria lady or two holding me at bay with a steaming hot plate of Johnny Marzetti!)

If that question wasn’t the best…how about the next one, “I support the Constitution of Tennessee and the United States” (yes or no). If I say no, do I still get the job?

Classified ad…”Automation (that’s the name of the company) looking for warehouse workers.” I guess they’re not so automated after all.

BTW, I must have answered the school bus question correctly…cause I got the job.
